OWN/YouTube
What's in a name? For Shaquille O'Neal, a lot.
In a clip from an upcoming episode of "Oprah's Master Class," the NBA Hall of Famer explains the meaning behind his name and the significance it holds for his mother.
"My name is Shaquille Rashaun O'Neal," he says. "Shaquille is an Islamic name, it means 'little,' Rashaun means 'warrior.' She said, 'You're my little warrior. I've fought with you, I've fought for you.'"
O'Neal's episode airs Saturday at 10 p.m. ET on OWN.
