Kings sign Marcus Williams

The Sacramento Kings have signed veteran point guard Marcus Williams, the team announced Tuesday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Williams last played for Cholet Basket of the LNB Pro A in France, averaging 8.3 points, 3.4 assists, two assists, and a steal in nine contests.
The 31-year-old last played in the NBA during the 2009-10 campaign, when he averaged 4.3 points, 2.6 assists, and 1.5 rebounds on 38.4 percent shooting for the Memphis Grizzlies.
Williams will compete with George Hill and rookies De'Aaron Fox and Frank Mason for minutes in Sacramento's backcourt.
