Kerr open to Warriors meeting Pelosi in Washington, but focused on camp
On Tuesday night, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi publicly renewed an invitation for the Golden State Warriors to visit the U.S. Capitol in Washington - an obvious dig at the Trump White House, which rescinded the traditional champions visit invite last weekend.
Kerr to Trump: 'Isn't it you who must honor the White House?'
On Wednesday, Dubs coach Steve Kerr acknowledged Pelosi's invitation, but admitted it's not top of mind at the moment.
"Everything's on the table," Kerr said, per the Bay Area News Group's Mark Medina. "We're in training camp right now. The last thing I'm thinking about is what we're going to do in Washington in January."
Clearly, Kerr isn't thinking much about the visit yet. Most champions plan them around a trip to Washington to play the local teams, and the Warriors don't go to D.C. to face the Wizards until Feb. 28.
Pelosi represents California's 12th congressional district, which encompasses the city of San Francisco.
