LeBron day to day after turning left ankle

LeBron James is considered day to day after turning his left ankle during Wednesday night's practice, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
X-rays on the ankle came back negative.
It remains to be seen whether James will be ready for the Cleveland Cavaliers' first preseason contest, which takes place Oct. 4 against the Atlanta Hawks.
James has suffered seven listed ankle injuries throughout his career, but has never missed more than eight days due to one, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
The 32-year-old is coming off another terrific campaign, averaging 26.4 points, 8.7 assists, 8.6 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 0.6 blocks on 54.8 percent shooting in 74 contests.
