Suns legend Connie Hawkins dies at 75

Connie Hawkins has died at the age of 75.
His family confirmed the passing Friday to 12 News' Bruce Cooper.
Hawkins spent the majority of his NBA career with the Phoenix Suns, averaging 20.5 points, nine rebounds, and 4.3 assists from 1969-73. He earned All-Star nods all four years, and eventually entered the Suns' Ring of Honor and had his No. 42 retired by the club.

The 6-foot-8 forward also suited up for the Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta Hawks, and starred in the ABA prior to his NBA career. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of the 1992 class.
