Mavericks' Harris taking indefinite leave after brother's death

Dallas Mavericks point guard Devin Harris will take an indefinite leave of absence from the team while he mourns the accidental death of his older brother, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.
Bruce Harris was in an automobile accident in Dallas early Thursday morning. The 38-year-old eventually succumbed to his injuries after receiving treatment at a local hospital, per the Associated Press, via ESPN.
Longtime Maverick J.J. Barea and second-year pro Yogi Ferrell will provide backup point guard depth behind Dennis Smith Jr. in Harris' absence.
