The reigning NBA Sixth Man of the Year broke the hearts of the Philadelphia 76ers and their fans Wednesday night at the Wells Fargo Center, burying a 3-pointer as time expired to give the Houston Rockets a 105-104 victory.
Gordon led the way with 29 points and five makes from behind the arc in 39 minutes to help improve Houston's record to 4-1.
Philadelphia - who had a 104-96 lead with less than three minutes to go - fell to 1-4 with the loss.
