LeBron: 'Not about to go crazy' over October losses

LeBron James has made the Finals in seven straight seasons, so he's not stressing about a slow start in October.

James dismissed concerns about his Cleveland Cavaliers following a shocking 114-95 loss at home to the New York Knicks. He reminded panicked observers to check the calendar before asking him if the sky is falling.

"What month is it again, October? I'm not about to go crazy about this right now," James told ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

Cleveland went through similar periods of turmoil in recent seasons, only to suddenly morph into a juggernaut come time for the playoffs. Given that context, James isn't particularly worried about suffering his worst start since his rookie year.

But something is definitely wrong with the Cavaliers at the moment. They've dropped four of their last five to the Knicks, Orlando Magic, Brooklyn Nets, and the New Orleans Pelicans. Every player outside of James is underperforming, and they're comically bad on defense.
