Look: Scalabrine shows love to Markkanen with jersey update
The White Mamba is making way for his successor, "The Finnish Mamba."
Brian Scalabrine shared a photo Tuesday of him and his little one rocking his old No. 24 Chicago Bulls jersey ... with Lauri Markkanen's name taped over the back.

After Markkanen was traded to Chicago on draft night, the 20-year-old power forward texted Scalabrine to ask him for permission to wear his old number.
"I told him, 'Of course.' You could be 'The Finnish Mamba,'" Scalabrine recalled to The Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson.
"I'm a big fan of his," he added. "Real good dude. He's a 7-footer who has range. And you can tell he adapts quickly."
Markkanen is the team's leading rebounder with 9.6 boards per game and second-leading scorer with 15.6 points per outing.
