Pistons' Galloway signs shoe deal with upstart outfitter Q4 Sports
It's a brave new world when it comes to shoe deals.
While the likes of Nike, Jordan Brand, and Adidas still reign supreme among NBA athletes when it comes to on-court footwear, a number of smaller companies have popped up in recent years - including Q4 Sports.
The upstart Los Angeles-based shoe manufacturer has inked a two-year sponsorship agreement with Detroit Pistons guard - and noted sneaker aficionado - Langston Galloway. Starting in December, Galloway will rock the Q4 495 Lo, the fourth-year player revealed Tuesday, according to SLAM.
“With Q4, it was a great opportunity to sign with a company that is really trying to help their players, trying to grow their brand and be able to showcase what new brand they are," Galloway said. "Lining up with that type of brand, I think that’s going to be huge and impactful for me."
Galloway joins Indiana Pacers wing Lance Stephenson and his former Pelicans teammate E'Twaun Moore as Q4 Sports' first endorsers.
