Magic's Aaron Gordon shows solidarity with journalist Aaron Gordon
There are approximately 7.5 billion people on Earth today - give or take a couple hundred million. Inevitably, some of those people will end up sharing the same name from time to time.
Hilariously, one Twitter user envisioned a world where the same-name phenomenon does not occur, and hounded journalist Aaron W. Gordon this week for "ripping off" the name of Aaron Gordon when the Orlando Magic forward "has earned the right" to sole possession of the moniker.
There is a basketball player with the same name as me. This person is upset with me because of it. pic.twitter.com/7hlugH4QLa

In any case, as Gordon the journalist notes, Gordon the basketball player was born after him.
Aaron W. Gordon received a big assist from Aaron A. Gordon, who delivered a strong message of solidarity for his fellow AG on Wednesday.
😂 this is totally my humor! Stay strong, AG. Don't let the haters get to you https://t.co/z6ziYGKLW9
