Report: Bulls, Hawks most likely landing spots for Jahlil Okafor
The Philadelphia 76ers and Jahlil Okafor will move on from each other eventually. What's less clear is where Okafor will end up.
The Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks are his most likely destinations, league sources told David Aldridge of NBA.com.
A separate report last week named the Boston Celtics as an interested suitor, although it also suggested that Celtics general manager Danny Ainge wasn't willing to give up any significant assets for Okafor.
Philadelphia is seeking a draft pick for the former No. 3 selection, but the team is in a difficult negotiating position given the way Okafor's desire to leave has played out through the press.
The big man has played in just one game all season and is buried behind Joel Embiid, Richaun Holmes, and even Amir Johnson in the Sixers' frontcourt rotation. Okafor holds respectable career averages of 14.7 points and six rebounds in 104 career appearances.
