Watch: Will Ferrell told LeBron to run for president

Will Ferrell thinks LeBron James has what it takes to run the United States.

The actor joined "Late Night with Seth Meyers" on Wednesday, during which he shared a story about running into NBA players at the Ritz Carlton in Boston while filming "Daddy's Home 2." On one particular day, he spotted James working out at the adjoining gym and told him to run for president.

Ferrell then doubled down on his request: "LeBron, I'm telling you now. We need you."
