The Memphis Grizzlies will have to conjure up a plan to win games without their starting point guard for the foreseeable future.
Mike Conley has been ruled out for at least two weeks as he deals with soreness in his left heel and Achilles. There's no timetable for his return.
Memphis lost both of its games this season when he hasn't competed, including a recent 116-113 defeat to the Indiana Pacers at the FedExForum.
Mario Chalmers ran the point against Indiana, notching eight points and six assists, and will likely maintain that role as long as Conley is sidelined.
Conley is third in scoring (17.1 points), first in assists (4.1), and second in minutes (31.1) for the 7-7 Grizzlies, who will host the red-hot Houston Rockets on Saturday night.
