Watch: Reggie Jackson ices Jimmy Butler to deny game-tying FT
Reggie Jackson was tremendous in the clutch to help the Detroit Pistons overtake the Minnesota Timberwolves late in Sunday's game.
Not only did Jackson have four baskets and four assists in the final five minutes to help Detroit erase a seven-point lead, but Jackson also iced Jimmy Butler's free throw that would have tied the game with six seconds to go.
Jackson, who was situated beyond the 3-point arc, feinted a conversation with teammate Stanley Johnson who was in position to box out. Technically, since the official had yet to give the ball to Butler, this was allowed. But based on the dagger stare on Butler's face, he clearly wasn't happy with the stunt.
It turned out to be a cheap, but effective move. The impossibly accurate Butler hit back rim, the Pistons got the board, and they won the game.
