Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is deflecting questions of his infamously iffy health by cracking jokes instead.
Embiid made an appearance on ESPN's "The SC6," and reported that he is up to 81 percent health (from 69 percent), then followed it up with a not-so-subtle shoutout to ESPN personality Jalen Rose.
The reference there, of course, is to the time Kobe Bryant scored 81 points against the Toronto Raptors in 2006. Rose was the primary defender against Bryant in that game and he has never, ever lived it down.
