Kyrie's limited-edition 'Mom' sneakers to be released Saturday

After making its on-court debut last month, Kyrie Irving's "Mom" sneaker will be available to the public beginning Saturday.

A collaboration with New Jersey's Sneaker Room, the SNKRROOM x Nike Kyrie 3 "Mom" features rose petal embroidery on the side and is available in a red or gold colorway. The shoes were inspired by Irving's mother, who passed away when he was four years old, and the designer's grandmother, who lost her battle with breast cancer when he was 14.

Both colorways will be available exclusively at the Sneaker Room location in Jersey City, with a few remaining pairs released online, according to Nick Del Bene of Sneaker News. The red version will be limited to 250 pairs and priced at $200, while only 50 pairs of the gold version will be available at $1,000. All of the money raised will be donated to local family and women's shelters.
