Blake Griffin has been working hard to get back on the court, and could beat his projected timeline by a month.
The Los Angeles Clippers have three games left in the calendar year and "every indication" points to Griffin returning either Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers or Sunday versus the Charlotte Hornets, according to The LA Times' Broderick Turner.
The power forward suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee versus the Lakers on Nov. 27, and was expected to miss up to eight weeks.
He's averaging 23.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists over 19 games this season for the Clippers, who are 5-8 in his absence.
