Draymond Green and NBA officials are like oil and water because they simply don't mix.
The Golden State Warriors enforcer has felt the wrath of their whistles more often than not, and he's not willing to take it lying down.
"It's bad," said Green to The Athletic's Anthony Slater. "It's horrible. It's really bad. I don't know what it is. But I think it's ridiculous.
"It's ruining the game. It should be one of, if not the main priority, to be solved. It definitely should."
No one in the Association has been called for more technical fouls this regular season than Green, who currently leads all players with 11 after picking up his latest Saturday during Golden State's 121-105 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
Should he get to 16, the two-time All-Star will be handed a one-game suspension from the league.
"A lot of it is personal," Green added. "When you give someone so much authority and they make it me against you, you can't overcome that."
However, his proposed solution to his ongoing dilemma may not be a viable option.
"They can get a new crop (of referees), a whole new crop,” he recommended. "Too many personal things going on. Too much me against you. It just don't work that way."
Green is currently averaging 10.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, 7.6 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks for the Warriors, who sit atop the Western Conference and the league as a whole with a 32-8 record.
