Watch: Raptors' Ibaka, Heat's Johnson ejected after exchanging blows
Serge Ibaka and James Johnson have been tossed.
While the Toronto Raptors were mounting a comeback in the third quarter Tuesday against the Miami Heat, their starting power forward got into a heated and overly physical confrontation with Johnson, resulting in double ejections.
Ibaka finished with 11 points, five rebounds, and two blocks in 22 minutes before exiting with 7:50 remaining in the frame as his club trailed 55-52. The big man got into a fight with Chicago Bulls center Robin Lopez last season, earning a one-game suspension.
Toronto was already down a starter with point guard Kyle Lowry missing the contest due to a bruised tailbone and back spasms.
Johnson, who has a second-degree black belt and is 20-0 in his MMA career, had four points, three boards, and two dimes in 14 minutes.
