Nate Robinson joins BIG3 as Tri-State co-captain

Nate Robinson is a little guy who's going to a big league.
The former NBA point guard has officially signed with the BIG3 as co-captain of Tri-State, the league announced Tuesday.

Robinson, 33, will serve as a co-captain alongside Jermaine O'Neal on Tri-State, which finished sixth last season. The 5-foot-9 high-flyer has been trying to return to the NBA for some time. He last suited up in the big leagues in 2015 and played in the G-League last year.
Former NBA stars Baron Davis and Ron Artest are also joining the BIG3 for its second campaign, which tips off June 22.
