Robinson, 33, will serve as a co-captain alongside Jermaine O'Neal on Tri-State, which finished sixth last season. The 5-foot-9 high-flyer has been trying to return to the NBA for some time. He last suited up in the big leagues in 2015 and played in the G-League last year.
Former NBA stars Baron Davis and Ron Artest are also joining the BIG3 for its second campaign, which tips off June 22.
