Watch: Hornets' Carter-Williams, Wizards' Frazier ejected for altercation
For the third consecutive day, an altercation broke out on the hardwood.
Charlotte Hornets point guard Michael Carter-Williams and Washington Wizards floor general Tim Frazier were ejected with four minutes remaining in Wednesday's contest.
MCW was fouled by Jason Smith and went after the big man, and that's when things quickly escalated with Frazier trying to reach for his Hornets counterpart. The two were separated by teammates and officials and promptly booted from Charlotte's eventual 133-109 win.
Carter-Williams told reporters afterward he thought his actions warranted just a technical foul, not an ejection, and will appeal to the league, according to the Charlotte Observer's Rick Bonnell.
On Tuesday, Arron Afflalo and Nemanja Bjelica were tossed for fighting, and the previous day saw a series of flare-ups in both the Philadelphia 76ers-Toronto Raptors and Los Angeles Clippers-Houston Rockets games.
