Celtics' Brown accepts invite to speak to Harvard students about education
Jaylen Brown is quite an impressive young man.
In light of a recent wide-ranging interview he gave to The Guardian, the Boston Celtics small forward was asked to speak to Harvard students about his thoughts on education, and he gladly agreed.
Lots of excitement from students about your thoughts on education —and the possibility of visiting us, @FCHWPO. Any chance we can connect on a more formal plan to potentially have you speak at Harvard this semester? https://t.co/JayFzV15dv

The 21-year-old sophomore told reporters after Thursday's loss to the Philadelphia 76ers that he was "really excited" about the opportunity. In fact, he's been thinking of enrolling at the private Ivy League research university, and has spoken with professors and sat in on some classes.

Brown - who put his degree at the University of California, Berkeley on hold to play in the NBA and wrote a thesis on the impact that institutionalized sports have on education - was also asked on Twitter to speak at other schools.
He recorded 12 points, four assists, three rebounds, and a steal in Boston's 89-80 loss without Kyrie Irving on Thursday.
