One of the Association's premier scorers will look to light it up from behind the arc over All-Star Weekend.

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker plans to compete in this year's Three-Point Contest, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

This would be Booker's second crack at the shootout, having last competed in 2015-16 north of the border at the Air Canada Centre. He fell in the final round to Klay Thompson (winner) and Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors with a score of just 16.

Booker ranks eighth in the league in scoring at 25 points per game, and is converting 2.7 shots from distance (T-13) at a 38.2 percent clip, which is 1.9 percentage points better than what he connected on in 2016-17.

Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards is also reportedly expected to participate, as well.

Only one Suns player has ever won the Three-Point Contest, with Quentin Richardson hoisting the trophy in 2004-05.
