Draymond to sit out vs. Suns due to finger sprain
The Golden State Warriors will be without forward Draymond Green on Monday night against the Phoenix Suns due to a sprained left index finger, the team announced.
Green is also dealing with a bit of a dental issue after taking an elbow to the mouth from Thunder forward Jerami Grant last week and being forced to get temporary braces to secure a displaced tooth.
It's unclear how long Green has been dealing with the finger issue, but he's shot a ghastly 4-of-24 from 3-point range over his last eight games. He's down to 29.8 percent from deep this season, his lowest mark since his rookie campaign in 2012-13.
After Monday's home date with the Suns, the Warriors will travel to Portland for a Wednesday game against the Trail Blazers - their last contest before the All-Star break.
