Cavs' Wade: 'Nobody's coming to save us'
The hour is getting late for the Cleveland Cavaliers to flip the switch. Tuesday's 116-98 drubbing by the lowly Orlando Magic was the latest chapter in a stretch of low points for the Cavs, now losers of 14 of their last 21.
To many, Thursday's trade deadline represents a potential turning point for Cleveland's season, but Dwyane Wade is preaching realism.
"Nobody's coming to save us," Wade said after the Orlando loss, according to CBS Sports' Chris Barnewall. "It's not the coaches' fault. It's the players'. We gotta own it. All of us. When we get opportunities, we all gotta do our job. We recognize that."
The Cavs blew a 21-point lead Tuesday and ended by losing by 18. Their defense remains non-existent, and head coach Tyronn Lue left during the game, reportedly because he was sick.

If a large-scale move isn't made by Thursday's 3 p.m. ET deadline, it will be up to this struggling squad to extend the Cavaliers' NBA Finals streak to four years. On paper, the talent is there, but injuries and infighting are seriously curbing their chances.
Isaiah Thomas, who has carried the brunt of the criticism for the team's struggles, shed more light on that Tuesday.
"When we hit adversity, we go our separate ways," Thomas said. "That has to change if we want to be the really good team we want to be."
