Report: Spurs pursuing Avery Bradley
The San Antonio Spurs are looking to bolster their perimeter and have expressed interest in Los Angeles Clippers guard Avery Bradley, according to Marc Stein of The New York Times.
In return, the Clippers are hoping to receive a first-round pick for Bradley - who was just traded to the Clippers last week via the blockbuster Blake Griffin deal with the Detroit Pistons.
For the Spurs to willingly trade a first-round pick, they would have to consider how valuable Bradley would be to the roster, as he is on an expiring deal worth $8.8 million.
The Clippers have already solidified one backcourt piece long term when they signed guard Lou Williams to a three-year, $24-million extension Wednesday. It is unclear if they see Bradley having a future past this season.
