Luke Babbitt is heading back to South Beach.
The Atlanta Hawks traded Babbitt to the Miami Heat on Thursday in exchange for Okaro White.
Babbitt was a member of the Heat during the 2016-17 campaign, and then signed with Atlanta over the summer on a one-year contract worth the league minimum.
He averaged 6.1 points and 2.2 rebounds on 47.6 percent shooting through 37 games while with Atlanta.
White has played in just six games for Miami this season. He was diagnosed with a broken foot in November, and will be out of action past the All-Star break.
