Report: Pelicans send Cunningham to Nets for Vaughn

The New Orleans Pelicans will trade Dante Cunningham to the Brooklyn Nets for point guard Rashad Vaughn, league sources told Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

Vaughn spent less than a week in Brooklyn, as he was flipped for Tyler Zeller on Monday. He was the 17th pick in the 2015 draft, selected by the Milwaukee Bucks, but failed to show much of anything in parts of three seasons with the team.

Cunningham, meanwhile, was a middling veteran who was serviceable for the Pelicans. He averaged five points this season along with 3.8 rebounds while toggling between both forward spots.
