Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star Russell Westbrook will not be punished by the NBA for shoving a fan following Thursday's 127-124 loss to the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center, league spokesman Tim Frank told USA Today Sports' Sam Amick.

Moments after Nuggets guard Gary Harris sunk a 3-pointer in his grill as time expired to win the game, Westbrook shoved a screaming courtside fan who got a little too close for comfort celebrating the huge bucket.

The fan was immediately escorted off the floor by security. He's since been issued a summons and complaint for trespassing by law enforcement, and is now banned from attending games, a source told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

Westbrook said afterwards that fans shouldn't be allowed on the court, and the fact that this interaction occurred at all is "totally unacceptable."

Oklahoma City is back in action Friday against the visiting New Orleans Pelicans at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
