Lonzo Ball pays tribute to his father on new mixtape "Born 2 Ball."
"LaVar," the final track on the project, which dropped Thursday, opens with audio of the Ball family patriarch declaring himself a "genius" after the Los Angeles Lakers received the No. 2 pick in the 2017 draft lottery. The song also addresses the hate Big Baller Brand has received and LaVar's younger brother, LaMelo, driving a Lamborghini at 16 years old.
"People lookin' crazy, askin' is it hard? I just laugh 'cause I know they talkin' 'bout LaVar," Lonzo raps. "Y'all can hate him, that's my pops though. First one that's there for me once it got cold."
Lonzo is set to perform his first-ever concert in Lithuania this summer.
