Kyrie Irving and The King could be a duo once again, and not just Sunday in Los Angeles.

Irving played three seasons with LeBron James before reportedly demanding a trade away from the Cleveland Cavaliers. The organization then shipped him to the Boston Celtics this past summer. Though the two will be temporary teammates once again in this weekend's All-Star Game, Irving said Wednesday in an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" he wouldn't rule out playing with the 33-year-old James again in the future.

"In professional sports, anything can happen, so you never know," Irving said.

Irving was hand-picked by James to be on his side against a team captained by Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, and though he doesn't know exactly when James drafted him, he had no qualms about the selection.

"It was a great choice," he joked.
