LeBron drops 35 points, 17 assists, zero turnovers in win over Raptors
LeBron James flexed on the Toronto Raptors once again on Wednesday night, finishing with 35 points, 17 assists, and seven rebounds in a big 132-129 Cleveland Cavaliers win. He became just the third player in the last 10 years to record 17 or more assists without a turnover, per ESPN.
James shot 11-for-19 from the floor and 12-of-14 from the foul line. In his last four games, he's averaging a triple-double at 36 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 11.2 assists.
However, there were several instances in the game when James was absent on defense, particularly in cases when he was the help or needed to pick up switches.
The Raptors tied a franchise record with 79 first-half points, with both teams shooting an absurd 66.7 percent from deep in the opening two quarters. However, James and the Cavs poured it on late, finishing with a collective 60.3 percent field-goal percentage and 62.5 percent success rate from beyond the arc.
