Report: Drake unhappy with Jordan Brand, in negotiations with Adidas
Did Drake just jump over Jumpman?
Kanye West once told us "if Nike ain't have Drizzy, man, they wouldn't have nothing."
Well, it's time to see if Kanye was right, as Drake is reportedly looking to leave Nike and Jordan Brand and is currently in negotiations with Adidas, according to Sole Collector's Brendan Dunne.
The Canadian rap star is reportedly unhappy with his partnership with Jordan Brand and would like to have more creative control; the same reported issue Kanye encountered before he made the switch from Nike to Adidas.
Drake signed on with Jordan Brand in 2013, but the concepts have been more focused on a collaborative vision. Drake wants to create his own line, and considering the freedom which Adidas has allowed its stars in the past, it's a logical partnership.
