Stephen Curry sat out the entire fourth quarter of Friday's contest between the Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks with what the team is deeming a "tweaked right ankle." According to ESPN's Chris Haynes, Curry received the rest of the game off as a precautionary measure.
Curry initially injured himself in the opening frame when he rolled his ankle after stepping on teammate Zaza Pachulia's foot while trying to defend a layup by Hawks guard Isaiah Taylor.
Though he later headed to the locker room with trainers, Curry eventually returned to the game and still went on to play a total of 24 minutes.
The 29-year-old finished his night with 28 points on 8-of-15 shooting (4-of-9 from beyond the arc), three assists, two steals, and one rebound.
