Curry becomes 1st player to make 200 3-pointers in 6 straight seasons
Drilling 200 or more 3-pointers in a single season is no easy task, but for Golden State Warriors marksman Stephen Curry, it just comes naturally.
In the history of the NBA, there have been 37 players to have connected on that many shots from behind the arc for at least one season - 13 of whom have done it multiple of times. No one, though, has ever pulled it off six times, not least in consecutive seasons.
That is, until Friday night.
Over midway through the first quarter against the Atlanta Hawks, off a feed from All-Star teammate Draymond Green, Curry swished his 200th 3-pointer of the 2017-18 campaign, setting a new record for the most consecutive seasons with at least that many makes from the perimeter.

Ray Allen, the league's all-time leader in 3-pointers, made 200 or more triples on five occasions (2000-02, 2005-06), but not consecutively.
Curry exited Friday's matchup shortly after setting the record because of a right ankle injury, but did return to play 24 total minutes before sitting out the fourth quarter.
The two-time Most Valuable Player finished with 28 points, three assists, a pair of steals, and four 3-pointers as the Warriors held on for a 114-109 victory.
Klay Thompson also hit a couple of 3-pointers to increase his season total to 196. Once he hits 200, he'll mirror his teammate's six-straight feat.
