Shaq to launch 'Shaq's Fun House' EDM festival
Shaquille O'Neal is throwing his own electronic dance music festival in Miami later this month.
The NBA Hall of Famer - or DJ Diesel, as he's known among the EDM crowd - will host a one-night, invite-only event called "Shaq's Fun House" on March 24 during Miami Music Week, according to the Associated Press.
The event will run from 2 a.m. to sunrise and feature EDM performers, a cabaret show, and "over-the-top" carnival attractions, including "flame throwers, people swinging from ceilings, (and) a lot of costumes," according to Shaq, who will also be performing.
"Despite all the problems that are going on in the world, there are two (things) that'll bring people together: it's sports and music," Shaq said. "We want this to be very different than any other festival."
