Casspi joins Warriors' lengthy injury list after spraining ankle vs. Kings

The injuries are piling up mighty quick for the defending champs.

Golden State Warriors forward Omri Casspi sprained his right ankle Friday against the Sacramento Kings and has been ruled out for the rest of the contest, the team announced.

Casspi's injury came with just over nine minutes remaining in the first half. As the 29-year-old planted his feet following a hook shot in the paint, he immediately pulled up in considerable pain before grabbing his right leg and falling to the floor.

The Warriors can't afford many more injuries, as they are already playing without All-Stars Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Kevin Durant, who are all dealing with their own ailments.
