Missouri freshman Michael Porter Jr. declared for the NBA draft Monday via Instagram.
The news was widely expected after the Tigers' first-round tournament loss to Florida State. Porter only played in three games for Mizzou, but entered the campaign as the consensus No. 1 draft pick. While a back injury sidetracked his season, the 6-foot-10 forward is still expected to be a top five selection.
Porter averaged only 10 points and 6.7 rebounds in the three games for Missouri, but has drawn comparisons to Kevin Durant.
