Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin has been sidelined with a bone bruise on his right ankle and will be re-evaluated in one week. He was a late scratch ahead of Thursday's win over the Washington Wizards.
Griffin is averaging 19.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 6.2 assists in 25 games since being shipped to Detroit by the L.A. Clippers.
Veteran forward Anthony Tolliver replaced Griffin in the Pistons' starting lineup on Thursday.
Detroit (35-40) sits a distant five games out of playoff contention with only seven contests remaining.
