The Golden State Warriors announced Thursday that guard Patrick McCaw will be re-evaluated in four weeks after suffering a bone bruise in his lower back from a scary fall Saturday.
Though McCaw avoided nerve damage, there's no certainty he'll return during the playoffs.
McCaw's injury occurred after he was inadvertently undercut by Sacramento Kings guard Vince Carter as he was jumping for a basket late in the third quarter.
The Warriors have been dealing with multiple injuries over the past month, including potentially losing Stephen Curry for the first round of the playoffs to a knee sprain. Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green have also recently missed several games.
