The San Antonio Spurs announced Ettore Messina will coach Game 4 against the Golden State Warriors, just as he did in Game 3, according to David Aldridge of NBA.com.
Gregg Popovich remains away from the team following the death of his wife, Erin, on Wednesday.
San Antonio lost 110-97 to the reigning champions in Game 3 to fall into a 3-0 hole, a deficit that has never been upended in NBA history.
Game 4 between the Warriors and Spurs will be played Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
