Utah Jazz point guard Ricky Rubio has been ruled out of Sunday's Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Houston Rockets due to a hamstring injury. He could be sidelined for 10 days, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Rubio suffered the injury in the first quarter of Friday's series-clinching win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Rubio could return sooner based on how his rehab progresses, according to Wojnarowski, but there's no question the injury is a blow to Utah's chances against the team with the best record in the NBA.
The 27-year-old has had a career season offensively and is the Jazz's third-leading scorer in the playoffs.
