The Charlotte Hornets are interviewing San Antonio Spurs assistant James Borrego on Wednesday for the team's vacant head coaching position, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Borrego has also interviewed with the Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks, Wojnarowski reports.
He has been an assistant in the NBA since 2001, working with the Spurs in two stints spanning 10 seasons and serving as the Orlando Magic's interim head coach in 2015.
