76ers set off confetti following game-tying jumper, delaying start of OT
Whoops.
The Philadelphia 76ers' confetti guy was trigger-happy late in Game 3 against the Boston Celtics on Saturday night.
Sixers guard Marco Belinelli connected on a game-tying jumper as time expired in the fourth quarter to lock the score at 89-89, but the individual in charge of the confetti - ironically wearing a "Breaking News: I Don't Care" shirt - evidently thought his bucket was a 3-pointer, which would have won the game.

The officials then delayed the start of overtime so the court could be cleared, while waiting for the remaining confetti to fall from the ceiling.
