By defeating the Houston Rockets 126-85 in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals Sunday, the reigning NBA champions established a new league record with their 16th straight playoff victory on their home floor.
The previous record of 15 belonged to Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls in 1990 and 1991.
Golden State last suffered a postseason defeat at home in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals when the Cleveland Cavaliers completed their historic 3-1 comeback to become champions.
