Report: Magic interested in Tom Izzo for HC position
The Orlando Magic have expressed interest in current Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo for the team's head coaching vacancy, according to Michael Scotto of The Athletic.

Izzo wrapped up his 23rd season at the helm of the Spartans this past March, finishing the season with a 30-5 record, highlighted by a disappointing loss to Syracuse in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
The season was also an emotional roller coaster for Izzo, as his program dealt with the fallout from the Larry Nassar case and an ESPN OTL report.
Already a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, Izzo owns a career record of 574-225, as well as seven trips to the Final Four, and a national title at the culmination of the 1999-00 season.
