Lakers draft Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk with No. 47 pick

With the 47th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Lakers drafted Kansas guard Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk.
Mykhailiuk steadily improved his perimeter scoring in each of his collegiate seasons, going from shooting 28.8 percent on two 3-point attempts per game as a 17-year-old freshman to 44.4 percent on 6.6 attempts from deep as a senior.
In addition to scoring 14.6 points per game, the Ukrainian-born two-guard chipped in 3.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.2 steals while starting all 39 games for Kansas en route to a Final Four loss to the eventual national champion, Villanova.
