Mavs receive No. 60 pick Kostas Antetokounmpo from Sixers to complete draft
With the 60th and final pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, the Philadelphia 76ers selected Dayton forward Kostas Antetokounmpo, but the pick was reportedly made on behalf of the Dallas Mavericks, as part of a deal that saw the Sixers and Mavs swap late second-rounders.
While Antetokounmpo's stats at Dayton - 5.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 15.1 minutes per game - didn't wow, his older brother Giannis Antetokounmpo didn't project as a top-end NBA starter during his humble beginnings in a lower-tier league in Greece, let alone a future MVP candidate.
Like the Milwaukee Bucks superstar, Kostas is a tantalizing but raw physical specimen. His new employer will have its work cut out. Thanasis, the eldest Antetokounmpo brother, played a total of six minutes with the New York Knicks in 2015-16, serving as a reminder of what awaits teams that can't turn a player's athletic promise into production.

What the analysts are saying
- "The younger Antetokounmpo is incredibly raw, much like his brother was when he entered the league in 2013. But with a 9-foot-2 standing reach, a 7-foot-2 wingspan, and fluid agility, Kostas is certainly worth a flyer in the second round or with a two-way contract if he goes undrafted."
