Dwyane Wade has participated in the NBA playoffs 13 times, with three championships and a Finals Most Valuable Player award to his name.

The 36-year-old veteran was a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers until February's trade deadline, when he was shipped back to South Beach to rejoin the Miami Heat. With the Cavaliers now a game away from being swept out of The Finals against the powerhouse Golden State Warriors, LeBron James wishes a player of Wade's caliber was still a part of the roster.

"Oh, absolutely. I mean, listen, not only from a brotherhood aspect and what we know about one another, and also from an experience factor," James said Thursday, according to ASAP Sports. "I believe that he would have been very, very good for us in the postseason. He's a guy that's kind of built for the postseason at this point in his career, who lives for the moment.

"So definitely, definitely think about that. It seems so long ago that he was even a part of this ball club, but definitely think about it from time to time."

James won two of his three titles alongside Wade as a member of the Heat in 2012 and 2013 before making his way back to Cleveland in 2014.

The Chicago Bulls bought Wade out of the remainder of his contract in September of last year. That freed him up to latch onto the Cavaliers, but after just 46 appearances, the organization shipped him off in exchange for a second-round pick in 2024.

Miami was eliminated by the Philadelphia 76ers in the opening round, with Wade averaging 16.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.4 steals across those five outings.
